We pride ourselves on making a living doing what we love — each bringing a unique set of skills to the table, and, together, we’re a media planning and buying powerhouse. Bonnie (Copp) Tharp is our fearless owner and has more than 35 years in the advertising business. She has developed and implemented campaigns throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East. She has a background in preparing media plans, implementing results-oriented advertising campaigns and has been the media director at a large agency. To top it all off, Bonnie has also been an adjunct instructor at Wichita State University teaching media planning, buying and selling. With her drive and acquired expertise, Bonnie founded Copp Media. 25 years ago in 1992.

Nicole wears many hats at Copp Media, but somehow manages to effortlessly balance them all like the boss she is. She works extensively with clients and partners to develop “added value” promotions to extend media budgets. She doesn’t stop there, though. By working with our partners to allow additional exposures of products and services, she helps make sure our clients get the most bang for their buck. Nicole Cooper is an alum of the University of South Carolina where she met her love of her life and developed a taste for southern food.
Holli McCormick not only brings 15 years of aviation experience to Copp Media, but also an unmatched passion to help clients succeed. With an accounting degree and an MBA, her “fall” into marketing was happenstance, however it was a seamless transition. Her fiancé career and skillset is extensive and includes process based management with programs, such as Six Sigma, Customer Relationship Management and Process Based Management. She joined the Cessna marketing team in 2005, and, over the next 10 years, gained experience launching eight new products, developing support materials, including trade show exhibits, collateral and videos, and developing key process improvements.
Before joining Copp Media in July 2013, Marc owned his own media buying company and served as the Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager for Cessna. As the Digital Manager at Copp, Marc employs his vast array of social media skills by developing unique solutions to typically standard social media issues. He’s a pioneer at developing new social media strategies specific to the needs of each client. His strategic thinking is what sets him apart both professionally and personally.
Sharri earned her undergraduate degree in Business Management from Friends University and continued her education with an MBA from Webster University. After graduation, Sharri immersed herself in marketing and media for several years before joining the Copp Media team as a media buyer and planner.
Reba has years of experience in customer service before joining Copp in 2015. We love having Reba at Copp Media because she is detail-oriented and organized. There is never a question if something is done right if Reba reviews it.
Sheila Frye is a lifelong Wichitan who loves being a mom to her two kids, Reagan and Carson, and a wife to her husband of nearly three decades, Bryan. Before hanging with Copp Media, Sheila helped keep customers happy for Perm-A-Store, a plastic storage manufacturer, where she worked for 17 years. Before joining the team, she also spent time as an office manager for Scott Rice Office Interiors and a Mary Kay sales representative. Her expansive background in human resources and accounting helps keep her approach fresh and exciting.
Born in Germany and raised in Georgia, Valencia found her way to the middle of the United States with a little help from Uncle Sam. She is the newest member of Copp Media and manages social, though she has experience ranging from IT to public relations and can either fix your computer or solve your communication crisis.
After receiving her degree in engineering from Colorado State University she moved to Seattle for 10 years until she got tired of the city life and traffic. She moved to Wichita in 2001 and hasn’t looked back because she loves the friendly people and all the land and sunshine the Midwest has to offer. Her technical expertise makes her versatile and an all-around team player at Copp Media. Lisa works as traffic coordinator, co-op management and office support diva. She works with clients and vendors to facilitate traffic flow and order processing.
Brianna joined us from Western Kentucky University in the Spring of 2017 after completing her Bachelors in Social Media Marketing. After a summer internship at Copp in 2014, Brianna completed two more internships, one with Aramark and one at Hangout Creative. She is a number driven research freak who likes to work hard AND play hard.
Our mission is simple: help clients succeed. In fact, our entire focus is on client success – something we believe in to our very core. If you happen to drop by our offices at 322 South Mosley in Wichita, Kansas, you’ll find us hard at work putting our clients’ advertising dollars to the very best use.
We work with our clients to develop media goals and objectives based on their marketing goals. Our media expertise includes television planning buying, radio planning and buying, print planning and buying (including newspaper), out-of-home advertising, internet advertising, new media and development of nontraditional media uses and promotions. In addition to working directly with the our accounts, Copp Media also works with several advertising agencies as our media partners.
We’re proud to be a part of the national certification program as a woman-owned and a woman-controlled business through NWBOC. We are also a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) for the state of Kansas. We’re also part of the City of Wichita’s Emerging Business Enterprise as well.
